Hey guys I was just wondering if there was a way to have my rear tires on my 2.4l 99 grand am sit back a little further. Right now there might be an 1/4 inch or more between my 18'' lexani sterling and the inner fender. I am afraid that when I bag my car I might need a little more room and was wondering if this was possible. I want to explore other possible routes before I grind some metal. I want that to be my last resort thanks! I believe they are 18x7.5

What is the offset on the wheels? That is what determines where they sit. Sounds like the offset might not be right for the GA. I have 17x7.5's and I think I have like a 43mm offset.

You can use spacers to push them out further, but I don't think there is any easy way to move them back.

I don't think there is any easy way to move them back.Sure , just remove the strut ...... :P
