well today i stoped by the Pontiac dealership...i saw a 01 grand am gt coupe (silver, ramair, leather, monsoon, fully loaded)...chrome rims...you know all the good stuff....anyways it was in mint condition, 51K on it, and asking price was 11K, kelly blue book had this going for 14,225, so today i put my car for sale and hopefully i can sell it and get this bad boy....what do you guys think?

well i asked for 7000 and im hoping to get the lowest 5 for it, i know 7000 is a lot....but u never know...

i dunno dude about that new grand am, not even 2 years old and its got over 25,000 put on it per year? might think twice about that one bro, thats a lot of wear in a short period of time on that car.

get a background check done on it, when i bought my GA from a dealer last year they did a free one, but i had already ran one on the internet (found it on autotrader) so that is how i got the VIN. You minght want to check autotrader to see if it is listed and then run a background check on it. i would it on my own because i just don't trust dealerships... :\ sounds like a nice car though and i bet most of those miles are highway miles so it SHOULD be fine

hey... I put 22,000 miles on my cars a year and they still look the same as when I got them, but I baby my cars.. :) Got my car with 37,000 miles in mid - end of june in 2002 and its got almost 60,000 miles..

i only paid $2300 for my 96 at a dealership. It was a small dealership in a small town though. Sure it had 100,000 miles and was an SE. I dunno about where you are. There was a girl here where I live that bought a 98 GT for $8000 and then found out her friend, my neighbor, got a 99 GT fo the same.

I agree, that is alot of miles.
Our GA is a 2000 and has 38,000.
Average milage should be around 12,000-15,000 a year.

Too bad I don't have $5000 to spend on a car right now I think your car is pretty sweet.

hey i do love your car, and i wouldnt mind sticking around so i can get it....especially since it might take a while to sell my car...can u tell me some details about your car...fully loaded? how many miles? and most important, how much you want for it? the only thing i can think of that might not work out is that i cant pay for it all at once...i am indeed just going off to college and im paying everything myself...so unless you can finance me...then we have a deal...hehe

LOL! That may be a problem since I'll be looking to use the monies for the down on the GTO!

She's a 2001 GT and I just turned 15400 actual miles. She's been lower with Eibachs, has the Flowmaster 80 series exhaust with 2.5 piping. Konig "Imagine" rims with Nitto tires. Hand painted interior trim, hand painted engine bay, paint and interior leather have been treated with "Final Touch" with a 5 year warranty. She also has AED LED tails which I'll finish before selling her.

I'll have to check the blue book and decide on a price.

96 grand am gt coupe 3.1L v6 49,500 miles, custom intake, those fake zenon lights/fog lights, strut bar, some painted interior, kenwood amp, 2 bazooka tubes, pioneer 3 way speakers in rear, dual 40 series flowmasters w/ chrome tips (150 for those tips) connected to a 2.5" pipe going all the way down to cat, 17" Excel gt-7 rims w/ upgraded sport tires (they have 1000 miles on them), Springtech lowering springs, custom gt brake decal, black racing stripes, black fender stripes, silver grand am gt badges, clear reflectors on bumpers...hmm..that all i can think of for now, yeh so asking price is $5000 firm....anyone interested?
