Constructive criticism: If you want to cut down on how raspy it sounds, change the Flowmasters out for a glass/steel pack design such as Borla or Dynomax. Alternatively, a small glasspack can be used as a resonator before the mufflers to help mellow it out, but chambered designs will always tend to "reflect" the raspy sound... especially under load.

Yea i noticed that too, except for its acctually less raspy under load, when im driving hard it sounds alot better then when im just reving it. But yea i have replaced the down pipe and the cat to high flow Magnaflow units and im going to swap the stock res for a high flow glass pack probably just a cherry bomb or is there something better for similar price to use?

Yea, that's the one time a Cherry bomb is useful. You can use any "bullet" style glasspack there... Summitracing.com and Jegs both have plenty.

You want to get polished stainless steel instead of chrome, chrome tips tend to burn the finish off, resulting in rusted tips in a year or two. Do you want dual tips or single outlet tips on each side?

I think i will just stick with Singles one each side unless i find a set of Duals that i really like. Any suggestiuons?

Measure the exhaust outlet in your bumper and report back, it'll help alot.

While we're on this, does the Glass pack go before the muffler[s] or do you put it on before the Y pipe? I've never really looked at my exhaust yet...

It replaces the resonator, for most people at least

Well a glass pack is a muffler actually. On mine I trashed the cat.
put the dynomax bullet first, used a 24 inch glass pack backwards, then the Y pipe, love the sound and no raspyness at all.
I listen to the exhaust with both mufflers by them self and it sounded real raspy.
but both together sounds great. Nice a low deep tone.

^Not true, my dad's cars aren't driven due to gas prices and the cops finding it no matter what. They sit in our pole shed with no covers and are FILTHY, but we'll change that this spring.

Is the Dynomax bullet a high flow cat? And why did you put the glass pack backwards? And is the resonator right before the Y pipe?

Dynomax bullet is a race muffler. It does not knock off much DB level just some of the raspy sound.

We put the glass pack backwards to cut out as much rice raspy sound as we could. It does not effect the tone much. Actually sounded better.
There is not resonator, junk that sucker. Everything is before the Y.
BTW I have no cat, I live in Oklahoma, we have no inspection. :)
