Hookup Q

Ok, I'm working on a sirius satellite system and I think I've got it all figured out except for one important thing: the power cable. How do I hook it up so that it is on only when the care is on? The manual say to hook it up to the "main fuse" What main fuse? Main fuse to what? I'd use the same wire for the amp but then the tuner will always be hot. I'm sure that there is an extremely simple way of doing this. please enlighten me.

u could possibly hook it up to the power antenna spot that would work depending on the amp draw of the tuner 15 amps or less i think would be ok. but get someone else to ok it before u do it because i dont want u pissed at me if something fries.
