Where can I get this stuff where i dont have to spray paint it on? I would like to sponge brush it on.

There is, believe it or not "roll on primer" made by numerous paint companies. There isn't, however any such thing as brush on or roll on primer for the automotive market. Check your local supply shop for the roll on primer, or simply do a net search for "roll on primer"
