After a short drive of about 5 miles or so I parked my 2001 GT1 and took the key out of the ignition. As I was getting out of the car I heard a strange sound coming from the air vents, it sounded like boiling, churning water.
I never noticed this before.
I opened the hood and did not hear anything, and saw no leaking fluid on the ground.
The temp. gauge was normal, about 200-220.
What could this be from?

i've noticed this too so i asked my mechanic uncle about it and i can't remember what he said it exactly was but it was nothing to worry about. if anyone knows specifically, i'm curious too, not to steal.

ok i had the same problem all i had to do was add antifreeze to my reservoir tank, so i would definitely check the that before you dive it again.

just make sure your not running straight water and no antifreeze or even better get an anitfreeze tester to make sure your still within spec.

I haven't heard this as of yet in my grand am, but when i had some troubles in my sierra with coolant (leak) i got bubbles in the lines because of low coolant. For quite a while after i had bubbling sounds until the air all got out. Could be something similar, just double check your coolant levels. Shouldn't be anything too serious...
