Hi Guys and Gals,
..I know i know ..nt another Power Window question u say !!!
But i have recently done all the cleaning to the window motor , tracks , regulater etc .. etc .. to get my power window to work ... with no result ..
I was told of the TPC strip used to stop the motor in case of "little Johnny getting his head in the window" ... I have removed the strip and soldered a wire directly across the terminal .. and .."wala" the motor wrks like a top ...
... MyQuestion is .. has anyone else performed this ? ...
I am aware of the safety feature that this provides but .. i am nt selling the car , and if i was ... i would have to state this to the new driver if they have children .... Just thaught i'de get this out there ...

I am going to do my passenger side window as well and will post pics ...
To further speak of the process i will paste the instructions on removing the cap which contains the metal strip that is to be removed .. it is a very thin strip of metal lined between a brass strip that runs from one contact point to another on the cap .. u cannot miss it ...

"Now, the fun part, digging into the motor. At the end of the motor is a plactic cap. (this cap contains the metalstrip that is to be removed)there are three metal flaps, one on one side, two on the other. Use the pliars to bend the flaps off the plastic cap. Then pull the cap out. be carefull, the brushes and springs are in there and will pop out when you pull it off" .
