I know this may be a dumb question but I just bought a 2002 grand am se 4 door and I don't have the car yet it is in the shop for new cat converter,new tires,hub assy in driver side,horn before I can pick it up. I already signed all my loan papers and have my plates on it so it si good to go.
ok for my question I have a v6 (it says on my paperwork) and also in the front fenders and I can't remember if it is a 3100 or a 3400. I know I can just look at the engine but I won't have my car for a few days and I want to order parts now. Did the 02 come with a 3100 or it is def a 3400? How would I decode my vin # to get more info as in if it is a SE1 or SE2 it does not have gt seats
