I have a 99 GAGT and figure im gonna keep it for at least another year or two...maybe longer. I want to make sure I do everything I can to preserve the car and keep it running well. I change the fluids regularly and have the trans fluid, filter, and everything changed evrry year in october. (I have a promo deal with amaco)
I was considering putting in a trans cooler I saw on jegs.com for 49.99 and have two questions. 1) Would it be worth it to buy and put on? 2) I have a decent mechanical background so I know I can install it but if anyone has any experience or knows the difficulty level any advice or information would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob.

I actually have a trans-cooler that I haven't put on yet...so, I'd like to hear what you guys think too.

It's a good idea in my opinion. Especially with our transmissions every little bit helps.

I want to install one on my car but I'm worried that it may not get installed properly. I'm kind of in the "if it's not broken don't fix it" mentality.
