I was going to order some GM wiper blades from GM Parts Direct, but the part numbers I have are apparently wrong. Does anyone know if these numbers are correct ? And if so, why the GM Parts Direct website says the numbers are wrong ?

22614731

I prefer to buy GM ones because I tried various manufacturer's kinds and they don't last as long as the GM ones. I searched everywhere on the forum and found everything but the part numbers, lol..

I'm still kickin around people. I haven't been on the forum for a loooonnngggg time but I'm still here! Just dealing with some medical crap..

Many thanks !

Wiper blades, Andrew....

Thanks Joe very much; your numbers are correct. I was way, way off on those numbers, lol. I have a Pontiac parts list here and it must be inaccurate... Got it off Ebay a few years ago, lol...

I'll order those blades either from Rock Auto or GM Parts Direct; whichever has the cheapest shipping.

I'm going back to the ole' tried & true GM blades; those Triple Edge.. Rain-X; Anco ones that I tried are a bunch of poppycock, lol. The GM's lasted the best for me; time to go back to GM I guess....
I have my yearly car inspection coming up so I'll need the new blades in about a month.

Speaking of car inspections... Guess how many miles I put on my car in 3 years ? 8,400 miles in 3 years, lol. I got a pretty good reduction in my car insurance for that... Plus I'm an old fart here so I'm out of that high risk group.

That's for you guys now, lol !!!! I'm old, dammit...

Thanks again my friend...

Bosch ones are not as good as factory ones?
I thought my Bosch's were 10 times better.

Actually I read a few posts saying that the Bosch were supposed to be very good.
I wont buy those Rain-X ones again... They started out great but didn't last a year; the rubber started to tear. Maybe I just happened to get a bad blade; not sure.....

I had the Bosch one piece ones. They worked AMAZING. I had them for about 8 months and they were like brand new. I had to clean off the edges a few times thanks to a huge amount of bug guts on the window. They are a little pricey but are hands down the BEST wiper I have ever used and Ive been through PLENTY. One thing I never forgo is a clean windsheild. The better I see, the better I drive.
