I just bought these tires off Tirerack. I'm very impressed so far, with Tirerack and with Sumitomo. I ordered these tires Thursday, June 12th at 3:45pm and got them Friday, June 13th at 11am. Speedy service.

The tires themselves... excellent tire for 78 bucks apiece (their on sale). I'm very impressed so far. I can tell that tread wear will be their ultimate fault, but their cheap enough I don't feel really horrible for trashing them. Their traction is great, handling is great, and appearance is better then I was expecting. Best of all, no more RS-A's. :) So anyone looking, I give these a thumbs up.

I highly recommend the Dunlop SP Sport A2. They cost about $97 or the 225/50-16. I picked up all 4 off tire rack for about $402. They have lasted 45000 miles so far and will need to be replaced before too many more miles. Which isn't bad, especially w/the way I drive. They are great dry, in snow, and have NEVER hydroplaned. They are also quiet on the road.

With that said. Looking at the Sumitomo tires compared to the Dunlops, they are very similar in tread design. Let us know what ya think of them after you've had them for awhile. The GA will need new tires in a couple of months.

I've got the Dunlop SP Sport A2's on our GTP. Good straight line tire, but not much in the handling department. I wrote a review the other night for them on Tirerack. Look for 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP in Tipp City OH. I also put a review up for the stock GAGT RS-A's, same town, 2001 GAGT.

I've got a set of these (215-60-15) on my car and they handle extremely well. Not only do they look good on the car, but they are H rated and directional as well.

I know a few people from Tipp City...I lived in Dayton for several years. As for tires, I like my Bridgestone Potenza RE-950s. They are great so far, MUCH improvement over the RS/As.

I'd have to say that all Goodyears suck. A few months ago I finally got some Yokohama ES100's and they're awesome. I've heard good things about the Sumi HTR's, as well.

i had HTRZ's i think. They sucked. lasted me a whopping 1 month(were brand new when I bought them). Of course I had and still have A LOT of negative camber. I wore them right down to the belts.
