I am looking to order a pair of Raybestos Quiet Stop ceramic brake pads to go along with the Powerslot rotors I just ordered for my GA. However I have no idea where to order them from...

Where did you order yours from?

Thanks.

Call 1-800-Autoparts and it will tell you the closest dealer to you. You want to order Raybestos number PGD727QS.

Thats the combination I went with as of 2 weeks ago. All I have to say is go for it! The braking performance is awesome. 20 x's better than stock. Brake dust is also decreased big time. Check out this thread, its pics of my install wich i recommend you do yourself. Its very easy. Any questions just throw them at me. Powerslot Changover (http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7896)

BTW- I went with a local performance shop for all my parts. I got the rotors for $85 a piece, and $60 for the pads (per pair).

Yes I read that thread, which in part helped my decision to switch to this combo. A guess the main question I have is what tools did you need to do it? I tried reading that link Kelly posted about the how-to just now but it gives me an invalid URL page. I'm not sure how to word this, but I remember reading that brake fluid must be drained (like 2/3 or 1/3) from something, but I can't remember what. I've never done a brake job on a car, so any and all help is very useful.

Thanks again.

The manual talks about removing brake fluid, but I've never done that and never had any problem. The one tool you will probably need that you might not have is a C clamp.

That is cool, where I work we have several of those, and a wide selection of sizes as well.

Basic tools are all thats needed. (ie. ratchet and socket set) It is not necessary to drain any brake fluid as long as you DONT disconnect the brake line. Check out this How To. http://www.grandprix.net/upgrades/powerslot.html Its for a Grand Prix, but its basically the same. They also upgraded to a larger rotor.
