need suggestions

I've got an 02 ga se with a 2.2 ecotech and i want to do a exhaust system on it ...but i dont want it to sound like rice ......any suggestions folks

Plenty of threads on this, it'll be the same guidelines as the 2.4.
No cannister or chambered mufflers, they sound bad and raspy. Something like the Borla Pro XS or the Dynomax Super Turbo work, along with any other muffler that is steel or glass packed, as long as it is the oval style. Tube style glasspacks like the Cherry Bomb sound like shit on 4 cyl engines.

2.25" exhaust at most unless you plan on doing extensive engine work, 2.5" works if you plan on boosting or doing the major engine work.

what about the resinator are yall leaving them on or having them removed

Not that they sound good but any cat back system for the V6 will bolt up to the converter flange.

I have a SLP cat back system on my ecotec. It sounds good from the cabin.

Vegas, I removed mine because my engine isn't as raspy as yours. I'd get it installed without the resonator, and if it's bad then get it installed down the line.
