So after taking 2nd place at Super Chevy, i want to improve on the car. i detailed the engine bay some more and i got some polished stainless covers as well, with custom etching. the covers will arrive on friday.

BTW these pics are exclusive to GAOC as i dont want them to leak out to the camaro forums. this will all be unveiled this weekend at my next show.
those polished covers are for the fuse panels on the very front of the drivers side that now has black covers.

did you clear coat them dave? wont they rust or will the polish protect them

well they wont rust because the car never sees rain, and i will polish them every one to two weeks.
if anyting i would have them clear powdercoated, but i dont think that is necessary. wheels i wold do that to, but no need for parts as small as this since they are easy to polish.

thanks everyone.
engine bay looks kinda cramped, but ie ben trying to take that look away. I guess its as far as its going to be since im not willing to delete my A/C or ABS in favor of a cleaner engine bay.
so now with my engine bay looking right its time to start with the stereo. Im leaving the expensive parts for later, so far heres what im working with:
older PPI amps (PC250 and PC275) and a JL 12w6v1
I also have a stealth box for a 10" sub. I plan to cut the back off the box and fiberglass it to maximize the internal volume of the box, then modify the front to fit the 12. the PC 275 is going to power that sub, and the PC250 will power my eD 7" subs.
the next phase will include a JL audio clean sweep, then a zapco 2 channel amp to power a set of dynaudio components.

thats the last thing I would do Dave. get one more cover made to clean up the passenger side fire wall. Cant wait to see the sound system install.
