... and as such, I would like to see some various pictures UNDER THE BACK OF THE CAR showing how it is installed (i.e.: welding, piping location, brackets, etc) ... for interest sake, I am installing a Magnaflo single inlet and dual outlet muffler so I can get my duals back again :) ... anyway, thanks in advance!!

As I'm sure Rocketfast and 95Black can back me up on, the angle of these mufflers look more extreme than they are, you can't see mine unless you crouch down, and I'm on stock springs.

yeah you definately cant see mine standing normal and im on stock springs too.

i kinda ended up with a wierd angle on mine not what i was intending to do but it will do till this muff rots out.

theres prob like less than an 1/8th of an inch clearance between the spare tire well. it doesnt burn anything or melt the paint thats there. i got either undercoating or paint or a combo of both i cant remember right now it been awhile.

Thanks guys ... made an appointment for next week to have it swapped over ... actually, looking at your tips Jim, I think my new ones are similar :) ... wasn't sure what I wanted for tips but liked those and figued if I end up disliking them later on, I can simply remove and reweld another set :)

Those are the stainless SLP tips. They clamp on and I replace them in the winter with resonator tips to keep the cabin noise down when the windows are up.

I need to get my right side tip rewelded already, I had them moved back so they fit in the bumper better and it ended up slightly tilted and cocked towards the middle. That can wait til later this spring though, suspension or paint is next.

I havent been down under my car for a while, I got a new Magnaflow exhaust, what do you guys think... easy to get the outlet pipes to the reverse holes? Sort of looks like they will have to go up from the exhaust and then turn into the holes..??

If you used tight radius mandrel bends on the end you should be able to pull it off. I have pressure bends so the radius is kind of large.

Got it all installed today but the car is now FILTHY being the shop had a dusty parking lot :( ... that, and the tips, muffler, etc are all covered in finger prints and "pipe bending lubricant" ... looks fairly decent; although, one tip is slightly further out past the bumper than the other ... I think that I can simply twist the muffler a little though to counter it ... tell you one thing, it was a TIGHT FIT under there in terms of making a single pipe from the converter back :( ... anyway, if anyone LOCAL would like to buy my old one, take a look in the FOR SALE Section as it is going pretty cheap :)

The tight fit is why mine knocked and rattled, it still does a tiny bit sometimes but I think that's because my struts are screaming to be replaced.

... that is why they took a couple hours JUST to make the pipe as they wanted to make sure it didn't hit ... I am very pleased so far :)

I had the SLP time-saver, cut ALOT of time off the install.

Yep, that would save time but I had to have a specific pipe made because of my headers and the removal of the resonator :)

I agree, those headers are awesome, and the new muffler / header combo sounds great accelerating up the road too!... if only a 4 cyl could sound so good! LOL
