Stock Horsepower?

Alright, I've had my 99 SE since Thanksgiving and something's been bothering me all since then. I would look at these SE's on autotrader and sites like that and it said it has 150 hp....buut in the manual it says 170? Which one's right?

Both are right depending on the engine:

2.4L Twin Cam - 150 HP, 155 ft-lbs
3.4L V6 - 170 HP, 195 lb-ft

Remember that the number is for Crank HP, not WHP. Depending how much loss there is in your drive train, theres is generally a 15-30HP loss by the time it gets to the wheels.
