Do you have subs in your car? I can't remember, but if you want low notes, find the pair of wires that give the speakers lower notes, if you want higher notes, hook those wires up. Don't get the sides mixed up, otherwise it'll make it harder to put the pos. and neg. together correctly.

Alright, just try hooking the wires up like I described, depending on the sound you want. With subs, some people just disconnect the back speakers completely.

The guy at Audio Plus had the 6x9's playing the lows with the sub.I knew when they blowed because it sounded a lil bit diff.....I had already take n my 6x9's out along wit the connector thing but I ended up finding out which was which.Got the highs end taped off so it'll be easier and ready when i put the new ones end. thankz fo the help cuz most likely i prob would have messed up something haha...

how will that kill your amp i've had mine hooked up that way for 3 years now no problems i replaced my rear 6x9's with some 3 way pioneers and ran a rf box split off the speaker wires for the subs i have a 760 watt amp with a compaciter so my lights don't dim sounds damn good with the stock head unit

Which wires go to the lows? The longer wires or the shorter ones?
