I try search fonction but I didn't find exactly what I want.

I find this:

Last week i decide to replace the old 3400 with a 3500 i had sitting in my 92 z24 vert. Since i need the GA as my Daily driver i can't afford for the 3400 to die one day.
No major issues:
- the bracket from the tranny to the motor on the passenger side does not fit since the bolts on the 3500 were moved
- The belt had to be routed differently since the crank trigger is there now, added a pully were the belt tensioner goes on the timing chain cover (used on the older GA's)
- Cam sensor has a different plug, i got that from a harness i had laying around
- Had to grind the UIM to fit the fpr
- Had to use a different throttle calbe
- The ignition module bracket doesn't fit anymore, so the best thing would be to use the 3500 bracket (i did not get 1 with the motor so im using the 3400 one for now just bolted to the head)

Still gotta adjust the idle a bit since its idling at 1000 or 1100 sometimes, but besides that im not getting any codes.

My question is, can I swap a 3500 engine, but only the engine in my 99 GA and keep my 3400 ECU and wiring (just modified my wiring).

Consider that I have HPtuner so I can modified my 3400 ecu to optimized it with the 3500 and an acces to a machine shop.

What do you think about swap a complete 3500 engine in a 99 GA and keep everything around the 3400 on the 3500?

Thx

why not just rebuild a 3.4 and use the 3.5 topend? be way easyer.

Good luck on the swap though. make sure you post pix of it.

I know about 60degreev6 but the site is often down....

Why shouldn't use gagt.com?

The site is down often? Hmm. Always up when I go there.

gagt.com... I don't have anything nice to say, I'll just try to keep it to myself.
