heres the problem, the battery is fine i had it tested and her car just dies so ive come to the conclusion that it has to be the alternator due to the battery voltage dropping and not recharging (use a volt meter to check it). The question i have is what tools would i need to change her alternator and how hard of a job is it. Its something that i personally havnt done and i dont want to start and bite off more than i can chew. But if i can id rather save some money and do it myself. Any help would be great. Thanks In Advance.

Really, really easy job.

Just a few bolts. Half hour to an hour, tops.

I guess you haven't searched too hard ;)

As with anything on the 2.3/2.4, having extensions and swivels for your socket wrench is a must.

All you need is a long-handled 13mm wrench for the belt tensioner and a standard socket set.

I may have used a 2-3" socket extender but I never had to use a swivel or anything for the alt.

You might as well replace the serpentine belt while you're there if it hasn't been in a while, too.
