Hey, I'm sure I'm not the only one to do this, but has anyone else made the side vents functional ram air ports? I cut out the side vents on the lower bumper (front), on the drivers side the second air inlet is right behind the fog light, the factory duct goes down and then curves straight up. This is obviously to keep you from sucking up water. Well I'm not worried about that, so I modded the air duct and now air enters the ram air on the front and air is "rammed" into the side vent and right up into the air box.
This would be a sweet cheap mod if you have the cai setup too, I chose to keep the factory airbox, with a K & N and with two ram air ports, its got to be helping a bit. Just thought I'd share it with you guys, I'll post some pics of my car and this mod soon. ~ Later!

factory ram air doesn't really do much, was more of a marketing gimmick, but, sounds cool, post pics.

Yeah, thats what everyone says, not a big increase in power, but it does bring fresh air into the box. Which is a good thing.
