I've just got my new MSD 8.5mm wires and ignition coils installed and I've forgotten the factory routing or I can't get it there. Can somebody supply photos of the same setup? One shot from the front catching from the plugs to the coils and one from straight up getting the back plugs (though they are hidden quite well).
Secondly, do I reuse the existing wire clamps as they are quite tight and do not close properly? Or do just get some bigger cable wrap and form fit it to the route?
Ideas?

Though tight, my wire clamps clipped fine. For some reason my wires hit the hood heat shield when I did the factory routing, so I ran them under that tube running from the rear valve cover to in front of the throttle body, it looks cleaner and I haven't had any melting issues and it's been there for like 6 months now. No pics oddly, I thought I had a few since then.

Wires not routed like I described, but this shows the general routing for the front of the engine.

Can the wires make contact with the engine? Can they handle the heat?
I guess I'll make it look just like yours.
Did your #4 wire seem a little long? I may have to swap around #4 and #6 as they were unlabeled wires and I took them off too quickly in excitement to get things right first.

My wires were perfect, I matched them up carefully before full removal and installation, I did one wire at a time. The way my wires are set up there is no contact with the actual engine, and there has been no heat damage.

I bought them straight from MSD. They were cheaper than here in Canada AND they weren't on a 1 month backorder like I was told.
MSD quoted me 2-4 weeks wait, but they shipped them in 2 days and I had them in 5.

My existing wires swapped good except the 2 that were generic/unlabelled ones and they were not the correct length anyways. I fixed them up today and it looks sharp. Just need to detail under the hood before posting pictures.

MSD 32559 for the wires
MSD 8224 for the coil packs (x 3)

You can buy them from PFYC for those in the US, not sure about their shipping policy to Canada. I bought mine from the CarDomain online store.
