View Full Version : gt and se exaust? whats difference
Well I am trying to sell my stock gt exaust to this guy. He has a 03 se ga. He asked me yesterday what was the difference. I was like :idunno: does it give the se better performance? Would it fit the 03 ga se, mine is a 01 gagt. Please help. thanks

The GT uses slightly larget piping with a dual-outlet muffler. The muffler will weld easily onto an SE pipe, as many of us have done. Not a lot of performance increase, but it looks much better and has a slightly deeper tone.

SE ... 2" ID x 2-1/8" OD
GT ... 2-1/8" ID x 2-1/4" OD
... so now you can understand why the SE pipe slides right inside the GT piping :)

what about on the 92-95's? where the piping for the second muffler would go is right under the spout for the fuel tank and I heard that something is different about the GT's tank.
