I have a 02 GA 4 door liek a tan type color with brown and black interior the plan is .... going with the burgandy overlays with the burgandy interior painting of plastics and burgandy racing stripes. The engine looking at either blue or red stuff (throttle cover painted) and cai poss blue or red. question is I am thinking about painting my rims they are kind of rashed and sctracthed a little from preious owner so if Ipaint them black with maybe engine heat paint and get the burgandy slashes from customgrandam.com what do you guys think and will it work with the heat paint?

For durability and gloss, look into powdercoating.

It may just be my personal preference, but you have like 5 different colors going on with that car right now. I'd reduce it down to like 2 or 3 or else it doesn't look as clean.

how much? Also it is not 5 colors the outside which includes racing stripes and overlays are burgandy the inside all the plastics are burgandy and the engine because they don't make burgandy intake kit I would make it blue or red which is only 2 colors burgandy for interior and exterior and blue or red for engine. Now you add the black rims with the burgandy slashes overlay.

I don't see the burgundy and tan matching too well. I mean it will work, but not like incredibly well. Go with a black or dark blue, like dark blue that kinda looks black, but you can tell its blue. It looks good, especially with tan

I am considering the dark blue with the tan I should say it is not really a light tan kind of like a tan/brownish I have a 02 se so i don't know if anyone else has seen the color. I will post up pics during the weekend if I can. So thinking about it blue interior, blue engine how does that sound. Also the sale on the rims are a great deal but it may have to wait until I get my tax rebate check because i have some other things i need for the car. Thanks for the offer ;o) Does anyone have the decals from customgrand.com in blue on a tan grand am with a blue interior so i can compare oics.
Thanks

I painted my intake manifold grabber green with the 3400 SFI painted black. I have some pictures of it if you want to see them. I used high heat ceramic engine enamel and it hasn't chipped or faded or anything. It is the same thing I used to paint my brake calipers too.
