running a 0 guage amp kit

can someone tell me where is it best to run my 0 guage amp kit?

as far as wut? run it through the firewall i ran mine under the seat i took the seats out and ran all my wires under the seats. but you could probably fit it down the side im not sure

probably not. that's a pretty good size chunk of copper. i'd say under the carpet would be your best bet

I got my 1/0 gauge running along the side under the trim. It just fits.

To the side of the seats there should be a support bar that gives like a 1" 'tunnel' under it, it's the perfect sport to run any wiring without it being seen, felt, or risking it getting crushed by trim clips.

It's where my power is run, might run the RCAs there too some day soon while the harness clip isn't attached to anything.

I think you'll have to drill to fit the wire through, not sure if there's a grommet big enough.

I had to drill to fit my 0 gauge.

i fit mine through the main wire harness grommet. i also fit it along the side under the carpet.

Mine Run Under The Drivers Side Of the Car....

It is Wrapped in Weather Proof Heat Shrink And Zip tied...

It then Runs up into the trunk to supply power....

that's where i ran mine through too, twice, so i have two holes there. comes out somewhere below the under hood fuse box.

From there it's super easy to route, I didn't even use a coat hanger. I just pushed in the clip under the junction box and slid it forward, gives you a perfect view and reach of the outlet for that grommet. Found it in a thread by 1BadGA.

yea no need for a coat hanger with 1/0 wire. i get the joy of running that now in my camaro.

Yup. thats the place (if i remember correctly).

I'm guessing that's it, it's the largest grommet down there and it's super easy to access in the engine bay, especially if you move the junction box.
