I'll try to keep this simple....
1) About how many miles to a tank of gas should I get?
At the moment Im getting about 220-250miles per tank. I thought the fuel filter was the problem so I changed it today and while yes it was nasty, my mpg hasnt changed. Ideas?
2) What would cause that car not to start as in you turn the key to start but doesnt. Almost has if it didnt have gas. Somtimes taking 3-4 tries before it starts?
At first I thought problem #2 was because of the CAI I just put in but then I remember having this problem with the stock airbox.
3) Could a sensor that controls that gas flow cause both problems above? If there is such a sensor that could cause the problems above, which one would it be? Anyways of checking it?
Anyone have any other ideas?
EDIT:
AH HA! I knew I forgot something.
Lets say Im driving at 70mph, running around 2k rpm and then I start up a hill, is it normal to have to push the pedal about all the way down to get it to shift? This also happens somestimes on a flat surface, such speeding up to pass someone.
Just seems like the engine wants to run at 2000 rpms or less and asking it to do higher rpms is like asking it to give its life up.
Does that make any sense to anyone? ideas?
