How do you replace the automatic tranmission indicator light?

You pop off the bezel surrounding it then what... I cant seem to get any farther than that. Im worried I'll break something on it or I would just tear into it. I know the bulb size is supposed to be a 192 or 194 im currently working on making every interior bulb blue. This one has just been difficult. Any ideas?

Search for the write up on it. I KNOW its on here or the other GA site because I have used it.

But basically there are FOUR tabs that hold it in place. Youve got to push in on the tabs and itll come up. Its a HUGE PITA to tell you the truth. LOL

Is it the white tabs? Cuz that was my initial idea... im sure its a PITA for some reason alot of stuff in that car is... except clearing the window switches... probably the easiest mod ever.

Yea its those tabs. There are four of them, two on each side. It really is a PITA though. You get one side up and then go at the other side only to get it up and the first side falls back down and then you got to get that side back up and then the other one falls.

Just wedge something in there to hold it up!! :lol:

After that its pretty simple.

freakin sweet. I hope it will actually look good... i was thinking bout doing blue or color changing. Blue is kind of the theme I have going on the inside with the map domes and glove box.

I changed it out today... wasnt hard lol. Looks good though I got a 7 color changing LED in there i picked up from autozone. Took out that yellow piece of thin plastic so it looks brighter. I love it people are already asking how to do it to their car!

Well... Idk what brand it is... some wierd brand from autozone... probably nothing special but you can get 2 of them for like 11 dollars. Size 194 bulb its in a blue package that says 7 color changing LED. I put one in my tranmission idicator and my glove box just cuz i didnt wanna waste the one. Putting the one in the glove box was harder than the shift indicator lol. I have some pictures up of it on cardomain. I didnt get a picture of all 7 colors because it was a PITA.
