to make a long story short I saw the awesome interior paint jobs on this site :P and decided to do it...in the 20 minutes i had before work. This was the first mistake as i was not properly prepared and i did not have the time. I painted strait onto the surface no primer or sanding and of course it looked really crappy. So today I decided to correct a mistake i made nearly a year ago. I am an art student so i have access to a sand blaster paint boot etc so i sand blasted the old paint off and wet sanded the pieces and then proceeded to spend my whole friday painting. i ended it with a few coats of clear gloss to get the really nice shiny fiberglass look and it looks great. the moral of the story is do it right the first time; plan ahead on time and supplies and you will have a good paint job and wont have wasted time and money:lol:
