Component Speaker Help!!!

Could i just replace the stock 5 1/4" speakers and tweeters with new alpine ones and still use the stock crossover and not have to rewire anything?????? PLEase help would make so much easier if i could

I replied to your other thread. Please make only one thread about a subject- makes it easier for people to follow it, and you might get more/ better help that way.

As I stated in the other thread, all Grand Ams (as far as I know) have 4x6 stock in the front doors.

I would not. The stock high-pass filter is not going to be anywhere near as robust or efficient as what ships with your new speakers, assuming it works at all.

yea i would definatley use the crossover that comes with the speakers. way more accurate and everything.
