Why did you get rid of it? I would rather have a SC2 than a GA.

yeah my grandpa bought all of the grand children cars. My cousin got a 2000 Celica GTS turbo. I hate her. She is the greediest person. and going behind my grandpas back she trades it in for a 99 accord and keeps the rest of the money!
I was like "I told you" to my gpa because i knew how she was. and now she is a pothead and stupid so i dont care. But my gpa is a nice guy and gave my 9K to get any car I wanted.

Dang.

I had to buy my first car (still have it). The only thing my parents paid for on it was the sales tax and I was very grateful they did that. :) I paid $1,500 down and got a loan for 6,000 from the bank.

I've always wanted to get my own car and pay for it... I know I can make payments and stuff, but I'm not up to full time yet where I work, which I wish I was, cause I love what I do.

Wow, your lucky to have someone give you almost $10k just to go get a car.

I don't understand, you have a '99, why do you want an '03? they are pretty much the same car.....

....I guess I am not used to someone just giving out money, neither have my parents are overly rich, and my father is a horrible person to try and do anything with (really, really long story) I just like knowing that I paid for my car all on my own, and that I don't "owe" anything to anybody (even if someone gave you money, you still always "owe" something to them)

Still, if it's your choice, then go for it.

When I was 18 all I could afford was my 90 Corsica. I paid $1050 cash for it. Then I rolled it over three times about 8 months later. Go figure.

Well he used to have red 99 GA GT coupe with 3.4L v6 auto.
Now he is getting silver 03 GA SE sedan with 2.2L 4 banger manual.
So he is having something totally different.

That dosn't seem right to me.... I don't like SE's especally the '03's.... the ONLY advantage I could see would be the 5spd, but I don't think that is enoguh to ustify everything else, plus the extra price.

Just my opinion.

well ya know what.. not everyone thinks and likes the same things.. I'm not going to go and get a new SC/T.. why, because I have no interest in it.. Why buy something I dont want, why pay for something I dont want.. I figured once few found out they would change their mind.. I don't see why anyone should tell me I'm wrong with what I'm doing, cause if I knew I shouldn't then I wouldn't be getting the car.. I mean I love the car, it makes me happy.. that's all that should matter.. is what makes oneself happy no matte how stupid anyone else thinks it is.. :) There is no talking me out of it.. cause thats just crazy.. and one other thing.. I like the 03 SEs better because.. I want a alero too, which I thought about going after and getting instead of another grand am because I really like the smooth looks the aleros have, and since the SEs have smoothed out and no ribs I'd just stay with a grand am.
