My GA is nothing special it's got a dented fender some dings here and there. I like to keep her clean though. I wash and wax. My problem is I live in an apartment complex so there is dust everywhere around my covered parking stall.

I wash and wax and by the next morning I have a tick layer of dust on the car. Static maybe? Can any of you guys or gals help with ideas on how to reduce dust issues.

Some of my toughts.....

Car cover. Pain to take down and put up every time plus might get stolen.

There isn't much you can do to prevent dust in a dusty environment. I feel you pain, I live on a farm. :( One of my best investments was a California duster. If the car is clean and waxed under the dust, it will remove the layer of dust safely. Follow up with some quick detailer and you're golden for another day in the sun.

I'll look into getting a duster. Thanks! Does seem to be just floating on the surface.

Not that it will reduce dust or anything, but pure sealants don't stick to dust as well as waxes. Get some sealant. Like duragloss 105 or Aquawax, or Zaino's products.

I dunno... I used Zaino for years and I didn't find it helped with dust any.

i used to use zaino's quick detailer and that helped with the dust, especially in heavy pollen like right now.

Another good anti-static QD is Finish Kare's #425.
