Anything's possible, just be sure to reinforce the back deck, it's not that thick. You'll especially want to because an MDF box is gonna weigh alot. Be ready for problems though because it's not a great place for staging and it will be obvious to thieves.

Not worth the effort. An 8" sub won't pump out much bass... not much more than the existing 6x9's. And in free air, it will do next to nothing.

theres a lot of support back there, not sure if recommend cutting that out. now, if you want to replace your 6x9s with 8s, that might work better, but itll be tough to make a box, so youll be running them free air. good luck finding a free air sub in todays market.

Not worth it unless you don't mind doing lots of work. Free air/infinite baffle subs sound horrible 99% of the time so you would need to build a sealed enclosure under the sub and mount it to the rear deck somehow. You would need to remove the bar thingy (don't know the name for it) that makes your trunk stay open and you would need to fab some mounts for gas shocks to hold the trunk up.

I agree, sounds like a waste of time, why not just run a single 10 or 12 in a sealed box that doesnt take up much room in your trunk.
