View Full Version : Update on the sub and amplifier Installation!

Hey Guys,

Well I met up with someone on craigslist to get a temporary bigger amplifier for my sub, to make it beat harder! Well, I couldn't be happier with the decision I made for my temporary amp!

I bought this Visionik 400 watt Mono Amplifier for only 30 bucks!! I installed literally 5 minutes ago, and my sub is a max 500 watt sub, and boy, that thing beats hard as F*** now! I am running it to the MTX Thunder 5000 12" Sub.

I am in the process of hiding/making the amp wires look more neat right now in my trunk, but overall, it still beats HARD.

I will definitely take pictures soon!

Any Comments on what I should do next? Post!

speakers/amp...of course after getting a "permanent" amplifier for your subs.

I used to have 2 12" MTX 5000's and they pound very well. I miss those subs but at the time I needed some cash. MY buddy still has them and wont give em up. Oh well, the system I have now is better. Good deal on the temporary amp. Can't beat that.

Yeah, soon i have to get a 1000 watt amplifier, and get the wiring kit for 1000 watts. Looking to get one from my buds at car audio supply. But yeah, the amp was a good deal!
