Looking at my options

Im just wondering what might be the best list of attainable goals for my car with my budget. If i live like a stooge, i'll have about $100 to play with after every month (after car note/insurance/gas). I have a decent sound system but I would like an amp. I'd like better performance, but the way my car looks is important too. The car is 100% stock with crappy rims and economy tires. No window tint yet, nothing. My only expense has been to replace the mats.

I'm 18 and have 1 year left of highschool. I live with my parents, and if i move on to state college, I'm welcome to live at home for 4 years. Every inch of my body wants to escape this boring city and the tight restrictions of my parents, but financialy, i understand it will be best to live at home. Plus they pay for my car insurance. :)

Buy 1 or 2 toys for it, then save the rest of that money for college. Trust me... you'll need it.

When I was your age, I bought a bunch of stuff for my GA but as I got older, I ended up getting rid of them because I just realized it's a waste of money. Now, all I have is window tint and a sub.

I regret wasting hundreds of dolloars.

And as threads like this recent thread (http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=89877) illustrate, college debt can and will overcome you if don't keep your spending in check. Plus loans don't cover all expenses.

not worth it right now. Maybe get 1 or 2 toys as stated above but save your money, you are def gonna need it.

Thanks guys. And yeah, i did read that debt thread. I'll probably just get some wheels and subs, maybe tint. Once i've got those down, I'll put everything extra into a savings account.

Lucky thing my parents won't let me get a credit card. I'd probably have a super charger and a body kit on it already :O

seriously though most of us were in the same boat, I regret spending money on my car when I was in college its just a waste of money better to save it

Definately save it. When college is in session, its a bitch to hold a job with full credits... been there, done that. Get up at 6 Am, go to work until I had to leave for class at 8AM, go to class until 2PM, then work from 2:30-5:30PM daily. Sucked balls.
