I'm thinking about going out and getting some high-temp spray paint to paint my exhaust tips cuz they're looking really bad. I would go and buy new exhaust tips but I'm tight on money. Well, I was gonna go with black (my car is white) and I was wondering that if I paint them black, will it turn out looking like I have no exhaust tips at all?

they will be less noticeable (sp) your best bet is to save your money and buy new tips a little bit down the road.

:iagree:
If you do paint them make sure you use high temp paint and make sure you clear coat them a couple times. I personally would go with Silver and not black :cool:

Yeah that does sound like a good idea. I'll end up doing that then.

... I was thinking about doing the same thing with black. I'm not sure if painting them silver would really look that good, I'm wondering if people would think you were trying to paint them chrome. I think black would look a whole lot better than rust though :)

What if the car was rusty? I'd match, wouldn't it? {smirk}
