im looking to get my windows tinted soon 20% all around but i was wondering if it will look bad if my windows have scratches in them or wont it be that noticable i dont want to waste my money if its gonna look like shit

The scratches in the windows is a very common problem with us 99-05 owners. I have 5% all around and the scratches are noticable at eye point, but personally i dont think it looks that bad. Tint the windows and dont worry about the scratches IMO ;)

I have the same problem on my front driverside door. Not sure if it's from the sand and/or pollen in the air that collects on the rubber piece by the window, but everytime I lower my window- SSSCCCRRRRAAAAPPPPEE!! The scratches are noticeable but not that bad. Still gettin' em tinted though :cool:

my fronts are scratched pretty good also,when i got them tinted 35 % it didnt show that much really.i actually think the scratches show a bit less.go for it man!!

did any of you guys have problems with the tint sticking to the back window up near the top where all the dots are.

I got my window re-tinted back in January. And the scratches look terrible.
But oh well.

Jwstew, the shop can lightly sand those dots for it to stick better. And take it back to them a few days later so they can restick it when the adhesive has set a bit more. Some members go with a rear eyebrow too so that it's covered.
