How old do you have to be to attend this?

no age limit. I think you have to be 18 to be able to book a hotel room though. Thats something you would have to look into with the hotel though. As far as the GAOC is concerned everyone is welcome.

Again, something we cant control you would have to take it up with them. I know for sure you can get in, but not sure about racing.

Well, one thing's for sure... if ure under 21 and get drunk without us over 21'ers knowing about it while we are playing beer pong and flip cup, then you decide it would be a good idea to puke in the bathroom in the executive suite, prepare to have pictures and video taken, you to be laughed at for your sillyness (in a good manner) for the rest of the time there, and your screen name to be changed to something that while being a real name, is also used to describe puking

Bonus points to the person who tells me who that is, however you cannot have been at last year's meet... this is for the regs on here everyday who pay attention to little details

You have a good point matt. I know someone booked their own hotel at 18 here before. Under 18 you will need to room with someone older and just give them a few bucks for the room. Call the track but I know you can get in.

still tempted to go myseolf, but the hotel thing may not be affordable... i may just drive up for one night of debauchery and such at the track and that night and then drive back the next afternoon

Definitely worth the trip. As far as how many people show up, that obviously varies from year to year but every year is a great turn out. Here are some numbers from the past few years. They might be off by one or two due to last minuet decisions or surprises.

2005 ... 40 cars / 56 people

2006 ... 41 cars / 68 people

2007 ... 47 cars / 80 people

But like I said definitely worth the trip. Sometimes you'll be driving around and glance in your mirror and you might see this.

I'd really love to attend Albany, however my parents would really hate the idea. whatever, I may try to convince my friend to comealong with his grand am too. but I gotta ask if most GA's get about the same milage then what happens when almost everyone needs gas...

One of two things. either we all run out of gas and get stuck on the bridge together.

or we all wait on line for gas together.

Some things money can buy. For everything else, there's good friends and the GAOC. :thumbup2:

Even though I no longer own a GA I have every intention of going this year. Whether I bring the Camaro or the Fiero is up to chance.

I'll be needing a roomie, since I don't feel like paying $70 a night for a big room just for me.

Yeah and then months after that another member decided to drink a whole bottle of vodak at my house and puke all over my daughters room, bathroom and kicthen sink... Anyone know who that maybe? lol

We should make these people walk around the entire time during the meet with buckets hanging from their neck!
