installing hood inserts on my sct hood, what is the best way to remove the black epoxy that holds the exsisting hood inserts on. allready removed the screws. any info thanks...

Razor blade or putty knife, maybe take a heat gun or hair dryer to it to loosen the stuff up first, making sure you don't cook the paint.
