Can anyone suggest some good modifications I could make to my 1999 Grand Am SE that is white?
I am currently going to fix the rust and paint the interior which will not cost a whole lot since I have most of the materials.
I am only 16 so you know, I am on a tight budget :)

post some pics up so we can see what you have to work with..Do some looking in the gallery and you will see what alot of others are doing..Check out the sponsers as well,as you can find alot of small things to do,like tinting the reverse lights,3rd brake light,etc..

Many people remove the emblems for a cleaner look and ease of washing and waxing.

Well to give you an idea of what it looks like, it is 100% stock on the outside haha, inside is customized a little, but the out side is all stock so it looks like...

Black clear corner TYC headlights and black TYC tails would look nice on that car if you are after some fairly cheap exterior mods.
http://www.grafxwerks.com/ has some nice vinal decals if you want to dress it up a bit.

Yeah... ya need a spoiler. You can pick them up from a salvage yard for a decent price usually. Tail lights are a must, there are some nice sets on ebay. Interior ligthing is always good, replace your map lights and dome light with LED's. And clearing your window switches is always good. Clearing window switches is a free mod if you have fingernail polish remover in your house.

Oh and I forgot to add, you can pick up a pack of these lights at autozone. They flash 7 different colors each color is visible for about 3 seconds at a time. The pack comes with 2... you want size 194 and put one in your column shifter to replace your automatic transmission indicator light, the one that tells you if your in P R N D 3 2 1. There is a thread I started about it.

I will have a spoiler available for sale soon.
It's black, but it needs to be repainted anyways.

If you want to sharpen it up, convert all external marker and indicator lights (brake, turn signal, marker, etc) to LED.
To go really cheap, you can order retro-LEDs for the existing hardware (about $20 - $30 a pair).
