Painting or dying interior is always nice. dyeandpaint.com has some stuff that is made for plastic and vinyl, and they will match the color of your car or any other color you want...

What condition is it in? Post a pic of the dash first. Get one of those magic eraser things and clean all the gunk off the dash first then hit it with some of this stuff

not really a fan of painted dash parts anymore I regret painting mine now, a clean stock look is so much better

i would agree that stuff works great. i also use the leather conditioner on the dash as well.

i love your set up man. if you could tell me how to do that. i would go for it. i like the first one. i have that same alpine hu too, thats whsat i want to do. but idk how to remove all that stuff or how to paint it.
and i will scrub my dash and i do have that stuff already. it is in decent shape. couple cracks on the dash. car is beautiful for the year

there are 2 screws like infront of the gauges and the other 2 are in the bottom storage place. then you just have to disconnect your foglight, dimmer switch, and cig lighter. your car will need to be in neutral too so you can slide it off. you can get a little rough with it just pull or bend too hard and you'll get it off fine.
if you want to paint. i used some dupli vynil paint that you can get at advanced auto or autozone places but depending the color you will need to use primer. just be sure to use LIGHT coats because it will bubble when you spray too much. let me know if you need ne more help

yeah, im worried about the painting part.
how do u get the circles off around the a/c vents?

don't be worried about the painting. like i said just use light coats and are in a warm area with little wind. the light coats will cover in a few coats or until you get the surface u want.
for painting the rings simply pull the vents out and there are 3 clips that hold the "spinning" vent thing in. just use a flat head screwdriver to pop the clips apart and they will fall apart and just snap them back together when you get the paint finished.

Make sure to give the items that you painted proper time to dry in between coats and when finished painting make sure you clear coat them

well when i paint mine it's always when my garage is warm, since it's really warm and i do really light coats it dries in a minute max. usually i do the next coat while its still a little tacky.

well im in florida and its plenty hott. Well, what are all the materials i need?
the exact paint and stuff..my interior is charcoal bc u said something about primer.
also should i consider another color besides white? bc im worried about how dirty it will get?

i didn't use primer on mine. i just cleaned the surface really well because it's already a good surface for the paint to stick so i said screw primer. and the paint sticks nicely. once you have gotten the color that you looking for and it's the same color all over it just let it dry in someplace warm for a few hours and you will be fine. i didn't do clearcoat because i like the dull look and didn't want shiney
