jw, but are there different kinds of reverse lights, because mine are pure white, then grims are like the black housing ones that have the chrome just on the back, and then on the bottom their black. makes em look like they are dark. jw if anyone has ever seen them b/e i was looking to get a set as mine are getting condensation, AND i want the blackout look, i hate how white the lens is, but the light output is good. i really dont care about that though, so :) and how much would the socket cost me? is it the whole light or just the rubber surround? sorry for thread jacking :S

i dont know if grim has a pic, but his look as though their tinted internally, like black housing and you can see the glass is not tinited as to where everything about my reverse lights are 150% white.

ok, i found out what it is. with his, it was completelly filled with water for extended periods of time, causing the chrome to dissolve or flake off, leaving only the black. looks amazing on a black car and doesnt effect the light output really at all. when i get a chance im clearing mine ;)

Yeah, $77 bucks here my cost. There's some that will kinda fit at Advanced Auto for $3. I'll go that route and make them fit.
