They do look nice, but looks like you will still have to hack up the header, the back looks very much like the other ones (mine).

Those are actually the first chrome ones that I like.

they look ok, but only one angel eye? wtf is that? but i like my style better, even though the quality sucks. the new ones look like they just stuck projectors in the stock lights. you guys forget, if they dont put the reflector in the corner, its not DOT approved or legal.

I just put mine on last week, so I dunno how great long term is, but they seem decent so far. But you have to cut your header panel to fit them.

those black clear corner projectors are the shiznit. i am getting them for sure. then i will get HIDs. damn, they dropped these when i have to work on my interior, oh well exterior always come first to me (except for paint that will have to wait lol)

Hmm, I have chrome headlights on my car now and like them but the black would be pretty sick too! Definitely gonna think about these, they may be even cheaper in two months considering the other projector lights have dropped their price by like half.

agreed. I left mine out. I was going to cut that side off mine and fiberglass it smooth then add a small signal light on the side. would look just like these new headlights, but not have the factory amber side.

so those 3 led lights are not the turn signal but rather just show interesting to know

they are white LEDs in them. You can hook them up any way you want. for marker lights, signals, or anything. I was going to get some amber LEDs to fit into them and make them signal lights

i still think, no offense to anyone, that these new projectors are waaaay nicer, and cleaner. personally i like the older style ones, but they look JUST like every other aftermarket ones you see on Civics, F-150s, Magnums, etc. these new ones look like they belong like that. and i think its well worth selling current heads to get the new ones :)

they look great, and in the first pic it looks like theres clear plastic covering it, which shows quality that they care about getting scratched. and yeah, i wanna know if they are H1 bulbs or not, and cant wait to see nicer pics. ur car looks silver haha. but anyway, yeah i wanna get those then HIDs for them, then install them so hurry hurry let us know! lol

that car is my cousins car. it is silver. as for the types of bulbs, i already looked,they are both H1's i ordered a set the same time he did and im just waiting for the replacement HID bulb to come in. the lights are wrapped in plastic they do look like a much better quality product. another nice thing is that they do not have the nipples on the lense. so you could put a layer of rock blocker over them much easier. I should have better pics soon. though they look awesome....

well i dont know what you mean by pain in the ass.. but i know all projectors you have to cut out the header, and hard wire the LED/halos in. but what else is involved that pissed you off? i would like to know before i buy them.

its just cutting the header till you get them to fit back far enough and adjust right. I just ordered the same pair for mine. soon as they get here I'm selling my old style projectors.

the inner bulb is a silvania silverstar 3157, you can get them at any autoparts store. as for the rings, they really dont light up. there are leds in there though it looks like it lights up the projector bulb instead. i pulled the leds in my fogs cause they keep on burning out. so i said the hell with it. just run without them.

I agree with what your saying about the LEDs. my old style really light up. when I get mine like yours I'm going to take them apart and get 4 white CCFL's in them.

big difference. with the old lights the light output went everywhere. granted you could still see, though i noticed last night that there is a more distinctive line of light. its brighter and covers a greater surface area.

real real close to what i think are the altimate headlight. i think the chrome with clear reflector just a little to much chrome like stock ones were like....and the blk with clear reflector, i think to much blk .

take that design make clear corner reflector blk in behind ,and either add SOME small amount of blk threw out the rest of the housing or possibliy make the out side lense smoke a bit.
blk with clear corners would look super on a blk car and all chrome great on white or light silver . OR if you have a ton of things on your car tinted out etc.

but my car is silver metallic mist 1999to 2000, darker silver that actually takes on 2 different tints depending on outside light. i need in between headlight darkness, thus went with the TYC blk/chrome inside housing , with clear reflector with blk in behind the reflector. thus closest match to my PFYC style generation II altezza GUNMENTAL taillights.

also not sure if i like the void of no light in that middle round bulb area , i guess in these it would be the high beam location ,when just low beams on. also the cutting out thing . i could easily make a mess of that. bad enough just ususal taking out and putting of ga headlights is a wee tricky.

are projectors of these design reall show more and better distance lenght and width wise versus add say ultra silver 9007 bulbs etc.

i wanna see more pics of the rims. i love black and stainless look. on my showcar it will have chrome, and maybe a color but the stainless is my favorite, like the 18x8 Falken Koblenz i had before in gunmetal and stainless.
