$1500? Then you should get 1500 HP. Down at the HP bulk barn.

Seriously, tell us what you want to do, and then we can tell you what you can get for $1500. Just a Borla cat-back exhaust will take more than 1/2 of that amount, and only gain you maybe 10 hp. And I would doubt even that amount of HP.

Rethink the question and maybe you will get better answers. I really don't think $1500 will get you a lot of HP. But it should give ya lots of worthwhile changes to your car that might make you happy.:D

1500 dollars eh? sounds like its time for some port and polishing. i.e. your heads... ive talked to so many people that say thats one of the most important things to do to your engine. n/a or f/i. i was talking to this guy that has a 10 second 69 camaro ss, and he said if you are gonna make a drag racer, the first thing you should do is port and polish your heads. although that is just what to START with. its a pretty huge hp gain, with other mods that is (and even alone, it is really significant). if alls you have right now is 1500, but your gonna get more to do more mods, then definately go with the P&P. cuz with ported throttle body, intake manifold, headers, and exhaust, the heads would produce a good 50-75 hp (thats not including the stuff i just mentioned, but you need that stuff to get the p&p'ed heads' full potential).

but if your just going to spend 1500 dollars and then quit modding your car, heads probably isnt your best bet. i would get a good exhaust system ($250), headers ($600), throttle body ($250). and then remember, ya might want to have someone install this stuff, so your looking at another 200 or so for everything to be installed. this setup your lookin at... 30-40 hp at the crank.
