Meh... sounds like engine is trash anyway...
It sometimes makes a faint ticking noise which I believe to be the timing chain or lifters. I would NOT recommend driving it this way. I stopped driving it immediately when I heard the noise.

It is very repairable but anyone that has done work on a quad knows it isn't fun. Trust me my W41 is down to a bare head right now. That is a member of www.quad4forums.com well taken care of car if it was closer to me I would probably buy it and fix it / part it out.
