Does anybody know if the Pioneer DEH-1100 can play mp3 cds? Just got one tonight and the online manual doesn't help at all. Thanks.

Considering how old it is I'd be surprised. We'll have to try those backup cds when you get it installed.

Wasn't sure if this one would or not, it's about 9 years old. Gave it to a friend that needed it more.

they definately didnt have Mp3's 9 years ago. Im sure it'll play regular burned CDs though.

He gave it to someone that wanted to put a sub into an old Diplomat, he'll stick to the tape deck converter and Mp3 player.
