Ok guys I have a 99 GA 2.4L and have installed a WAI and a ECU mod. I'm getting the muffler changed this Saturday. Is there anything else I can do 2 my car get get more power out of it. Perferably more torque. NO superchargers/nos/turbos.

Anyway I can help my car out. The reason I'm asking is because my friend drives a VW GTI with a ECU mod and he kills me from the start line onward. I know I'm not going 2 beat him but would at least like 2 keep up. So if u guys have any ideas let me know.

I think Themeneea means mandrel bent piping. Opinions on the best size to go with vary, some like 2.25 inches and some like 2.5 inches. :)

Don't get subs, I know the stereo sounds nice with them, but they slow you down cause of the weight of the box and it changes your handling. I know from experience.

Since I see your redoing your piping, I'd say you should invest in a hi-flow cat....either catco or magnaflow. It won't give you alot more power, just an extra edge which is good to have if you race. If you want more torque, go with 2.25 piping insted of 2.5. On the 6-cyl it doesn't really matter, but since you have a 4 I'd think the slightly smaller piping would be better especially if you doing headers and all that other exhaust stuff.

nah, I'm in the suburbs of NYC. If you want a really cheap paint job, go to the Bronx (don't let your car get jacked), but other than that I don't know what to tell you.

Get your engine bored .030" or more over, balance the connecting rods and crankshaft. Get the heads ported. Three angle valve job. If you want more power without boost, you gotta go internally. Though headers are a good idea.
