Alright, I'm new here, so I just bought a 2000 Grand Am GT with a ram air V6. Here's my potential list of performance upgrades for the summer..
-K&N Air Induction System (custom fab/install)
-TCE 65mm Throttle Body
-TCE Manifold Spacer
-WOT-Tech Upper and Lower Intake Manifold (ported to 65mm)
Is there anything else I'll need inorder to make this all work?
I'm thinking about having a race shop in the area do the work, would it be fairly easy and something I could get done in a day or 2?
I've never done too much work on engines, so I'm thinking if it's difficult just to have the professionals do it.

Intake modifications are pratically worthless on an otherwise stock engine.
Do a CAI and exhaust to start with, then move on from there.

I'm planning on doing a full blown overhaul over a few years. I'm only 18, so money is tight. I'm trying to get the most "bang for my buck" I'm staying away from CAI, due to the Ram Air, I'm pulling in cold air already. Suggestions on things other than exhaust?

Ram Air ain't doin crap, it's a gimmick. get the CAI it actually works.

what CAI would give me the highest power? I know they are all probably around the same, I didn't know if there was one that would give more power over the others.. Also, would it be useless to add in a 65mm TB with stock manifold?

Get yourself a CAI and call it good until you are older with a job/education. CAI is cheap, everything else is hardcore expensive and just not worth it until you get some playing around money. Seconding chrome intakes on ebay.

CAI and exhaust are the best starting mods, especially on a budget. A CAI from eBay costs less than $100 and the Pacesetter Monza exhaust costs about $325. My suggestion, really watch your spending unless you want to end up like me, I've put my money into my car and it doesn't look like I'm getting many scholarships :( stupid people getting ahead of me in rank because I took shop instead of foreign languages, shop helps me more with engineering.

FALSE-
Ram Air is NOT a "gimmick" at all. It does draw in cooler air, however tight bends and narrow tubing doesn't make it as effective as a CAI.

Yes it would be useless to add a 65mm TB to a stock intake manifold.
As long as you have a quality/name brand filter purchase a inexpensive inlet with aluminum tubing and save the rest of your cash for other modifications. Over priced, expensive cold air inlets are a waste of money and you will see NO performance benifits from having them.
