Rearview Mirror problem

i've never had this problem before with all of the systems i have had. My rear view keeps falling off the glass. i've tried every rear view mirror glue at autozone and when i put it on i dont turn the subs on for like 2-3 days and it still falls back off. wut else could i use to glue it? i asked the guy if i could use gorilla glue or something and his only answer was dont play ur stereo, wut an idiot lol? anyone else have this problem? amp is only 1000 watts RMS.

haha, i had the same problem. usually i dont push my subs hard. but one day i had them up to about 9 (highest is 15) on my hu. i usually keep it at 0 or 3. well, my mirror fell off. i was dieing laughing. but i used rear view mirrir glue (1$) and hasnt fallen off yet.

everything was clean. i used stuff to clean it and they came with a lil prep pad to clean it. i dunno im just gonna have to ride with it off for good maybe lol. i had a 1500 watt rms amp and it never fell off now with the 1000 watt rms amp it falls off.

I had the same problem a while back. I then took it to an autoglass shop, they did it for $5 and it hasn't fallen off since.

it happened in my grand am as well. It seems that the OEM glue is better than all of that other stuff. Once mine fell off i used auto zone crap about 5 times. then i gave up and went to the dealer and had them do it, and it stayed on for good after that.

I used superglue when I got my subs 2 years ago and I can't even pull my mirror off.
