Hello all.
My grand am had a new door ding thanks to some pr*ck, but not only is it a ding, but it also has paint from the other car transfered to my car. I have a black grandam, and the other car was white, so it is very noticable.

Does anybody know of any products that I can use to try to get rid of the white paint on the side of my car? Its not a big area (may be an inch long, by about a 1/2 inch wide), but I would like to see it gone.

Look forward to your suggestions.

Adam

Goo-gone may work, but I'd dampen a rag with some gasoline and give it a go with that. Keep to the affected area only, then wash/rinse well and follow up with a coat of wax.

If you had a good coat of wax on you car it may be superfical and may come off if you with the wax if you use a wax remover (I got lucky and this worked for me once). Gasoline or a MILD paint thinner or other alcohol based paint removing products may work but make sure you test the chemicals somewhere unseen first like under the hood or trunk. Good luck and get back to us on what worked well and what doesn't!
