Power Acoustik system?

Question: A friend of mine at work is selling , as per title, a Power Acoustik DVD 160W PTID-8200 system. Does USB, Aux input,ipod connect, etc, and he's asking $300 for it.

Is it a) compatible with the GA's audio system b) can I hook it up myself and c) is it trash or a good deal? He used it in his Mercedes C230 hatch if that matters.
And if it is garbage, what's a good price for it?

It will work in your car, all you would need is an adapter then you can hook up the wires accordingly. Like I just said, yes you can do it yourself as long as you buy all the right parts. You can get them for $300 online NEW, so I wouldn't pay more than $170-$250 depending on it's condition.

As was said, you can get it new for around $300 (link (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_11846_Power+Acoustik+PTID-8200.html#)), so it's not much of a deal and I probably wouldn't spend the money on a Power Acoustik HU if it were me. If you want it though, it'd be very similar to putting in any other deck since there's not even a breakout (brain) box for that model.
