Hello-
I have a 2000 GAGT and I want to put subs in, but don't really want to waste alot of trunk space. Has anyone ever put subs under the back seat? Would it work? Got pics?
Thanks

it wont work because the bottom of the seat sits directly on the floor pan you could always build yourself a box that sits behind the wheel wells

Yeah, without cutting and custom fabrication, it won't work.
But if you have money, and body working ability, its an achievable project.

i'd have the same problem if i ever put subs in, i'd use my trunk so i wouldnt want a huge box right in the middle of it, i always thought id be able to build cusomt boxes that would fit in each back corner of the trunk behind the wheel wells and fastened them in there somehow

Mike, velcro is your friend for fastening it, two strips of velcro and they'll never slide.

You can get the shallow mount subs and build them into the seats and put strong covers over them or even fiberglass.....i saw this done in the backseat of a truck....

True, forgot about those. I think Bazooka makes a compact set.
